THIS WEEKEND!!!!! Mixed Bag Productions is PUMPED to bring ya'll yet another round of EPIC afterparties in NYC. As most of you know by now, The Disco Biscuits will be playing 2 nights at the very nice and very new NOKIA THEATRE in New York City on April 11th and 12th - In Association with The Disco Biscuits, Mixed Bag Productions is proud to present The Official Biscuits after-parties for these two shows. On Friday we will be partying till the early morning at BB King's w/ Bassnectar, Sub Swara, and King Britt and some VERY special guests, on Saturday night we will chase the dawn with the sounds and vibrations of Simon Posford as Halloucinogen and Shpongle come in from the UK to end this stellar weekend of madness in NYC.

Well, we've finally surfaced from what was a CRAZY night @ Studio B -- Have no fear my friends, we have a GREAT spring in store for you. Well folks, we have some good news and some bad news to report surrounding our President's Day Dance Party on Saturday, February 16th at STUDIO B in Brooklyn.
The bad news: Due to an unforeseen personal obligation CONSPIRATOR will regrettably not be able to play at Studio B on 2/16 and have to postpone their performance with Mixed Bag Productions to later this spring…
The good news: THE JOIN (featuring Jamie Shields and Darren Shearer of THE NEW DEAL) will now be headlining the show, playing an Interlocking set with BioDiesel. Just think of the on-stage collaboration possibilities. Also added to the show are dub-step champions and NYC residents SUB SWARA.
The better news: THE JOIN will consist of the New Deal’s Jamie Shields on keyboards and Darren Shearer on drums. “Joining” them at Studio B will be Tom Hamilton on guitar (Brother’s Past, American Babies) and Clay Parnell on Bass (Brother’s Past, BioDiesel). This line-up stole the show late-night at Camp Bisco 6, so we thought we would bring them back for round two in Brooklyn.
Tickets will be on-sale this Tuesday (1/22) at 10:00am EST via the Mixed Bag Productions homepage (www.mixedbagproductions.com). PLEASE NOTE: There will only be a VERY LIMITED (100 or so) amount of tickets available at the door so please purchase your tickets in advance, there will be no extra fees for doing so.

Happy New Year!
Just wanted to take this chance to say thank you for supporting us in 2007 and helping make what we do worth while. We had a great time seeing all of you on The Disco Biscuits New Year's Run and we look forward to 2008 being a great year for live music!!

Mixed Bag is proud to bring BIODIESEL "The Industrty Leader in live IDM and Drum N Bass" Feat. legendary DnB/Jungle drummer Jonny Rabb and Clay Parnell (Brothers Past) to the northeast for a 4 night run through some of the areas hottest music scenes. The Biodiesel run will culminate on President's Day Weekend (2/16) at Studio B in Brooklyn where the boys will pay an interlocking set VS Conspirator (Marc & Aron of The Disco Biscuits) plus The Gitch Mob will be slaying the crowd with a spcial late night throwdown!

Mike Gordon of Phish sits in with The Breakfast @ Mixed Bag Show in VT (jambands.com)
"On Saturday, the Breakfast hosted their 9th Annual Fongoulish Freakout at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT. At Higher Ground the band tipped its cap to the environs andoffered up a version of Phish's Lawn Boy, which spanned two sets. Later, when the group returned for an encore, none other then Phish's Mike Gordon took the stage. Gordon appeared on bass, wearing a baseballhead mask..." To read more check out Jambands.com

VEGOOSE LATE NIGHTS
We're pleased to announce two amazing late night parties in Vegas during Vegoose. On Saturday October 27 come Check out Mash-Up King and legendary DJ Z-Trip @ The Beatles Revolution Lounge in the Mirage. Doors are @ 11:00, and Z-Trip hits just after midnight.
The following night, Sunday October 28, come see rising stars MSTRKRFT , Guns N Bombs, Lazaro Casanova , and LA Riots @ The Beatles Revolutions Lounge in the Mirage. Tickets are $20, but admission is free before 11:30.
These are both intimate parties, so get there early!

"STS9 is on board to present some special post-show gigs later this week. The band is partnering with Mixed Bag Productions and Euphonic Conceptions for events in Boston and New York. Following the STS9 performance at Avalon on Thursday, Bill's Bar will host music from Psylab, the Glitch Mob, and what is billed as “a VERY special guest” to close out the evening. Then on Saturday night after a show at Nokia Theater Times Square, Club Rebel will offer sets from Sub Swara, Bassnectar, The Glitch Mob, and up and coming house DJ David Knight better known as djk.
